Huck takes synthetic insulin which is pumped into his body all day every day to keep his blood sugar at an acceptable level.
When he eats,he counts the carbohydrates and takes the appropriate amount of insulin to counteract those carbs.
He tries to stay away from too much salt,sugar,grease,starch,and protein,as these are bad for him,he can only eat limited amounts.
I am worried about him,well,I think he can live as long as anyone,
there will be a price to pay for high blood sugar and high blood pressure,however.
